CARGANDO...

Earlier this month, Nakayoshi took the celebration of the 20th anniversary of CLAMP’s Cardcaptor Sakura magic girl series to another level with the introduction of a new manga that reintroduces Sakura Kinomoto in her first year of junior high school and the announcement of a new anime series.

Animedia magazine has teased their coverage of news about the anime, and to promote that, they cut from an interesting visual.

In June 2013, it was the 15th anniversary of the CCS anime’s debut on NHK. To mark the occasion, Animedia magazine featured a CCS spread and spoke to producer Eizo Kondo. One thing he mentioned, grabbing a lot of attention, was that he’d like to to make another Sakura anime.

Does the face from the associated visual look familiar…

There are also photos from the CCS display at the Tokyo Toy Show
