Fourth TV anime also planned

Mithril fans have now have another project to look forward to. In time for this year’s 15th anniversary of its first TV anime, Shoji Gatoh’s Full Metal Panic! was slated to come back for a fourth anime series, Invisible Victory, in fall 2017. That then got moved to spring 2018. Shikidouji added to this with the news that the anime will be getting a director’s-cut edit into a trilogy of movies.

The Legend of the Galactic Heroes Die Neue These anime will arrive with Dawn Chapter 12 episode TV anime in April 2018

Yoshiki Tanaka’s Legend of the Galactic Heroes, telling a sci-fi war based on 19th century Prussian conflicts, inspired a huge body of anime between 1988 and 2000. In February 2014, after a decade and a half, a new anime project was announced during the opening of stage production Legend of the Galactic Heroes Chapter IV: After the Clash. Today, Tanaka and the Production I.G team took to the stage at Shinjuku Cultural Center to present plans for this new project.

Remastered sequel is playable at this week’s Tokyo Game Show

Hideo Kojima may no longer be involved, but Cygames and Konami have teamed up to resurrect another game he worked on: Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. The sequel was originally released on PlayStation 2 in 2003—with an HD collection of both games following on PS3 in 2012—and it’s set to make a comeback in remastered form on PS4 and PSVR as Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner MRS.
